In today’s home based business blog post we will be looking at what you can do to open your very own shopify online store today, in 2021.
There is many things you can do today which was simply not possible even 10 years ago.
With the pace of fast technology, faster internet connection and even faster computers this makes is now possible for anyone with a laptop to open an online store today.
The key of your success is knowing how to achieve this in the fastest time possible and I will give you my best tips here as I don’t just walk the walk I talk the talk.
I am in the process of launching my very first shopify store end of April and it has been a fast learning curve, so I will list my top tips which can help you out today!
- 1. Do your research into the market your going into, there is no need to go into a saturated market with low returns on sales profits.
- 2. Make sure you have a great theme, do not use the Free theme as this normally looks cheap.
- 3. Find a great dropshipping partner who can dropship your products to either the big four counties which are USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand plus you can add U.K later. The reason why I say leave the U.K for later once you up and running is that as the U.K has left the E.U any product arriving in the U.K from the E.U or USA maybe liable for VAT or other taxes. The other big four counties either have no to little take compared to the 20% Vat tax in the U.K.
- 4. Be registered in the U.K as a company with companies house and also having a registered address is a good start in the right direction.
- 5. Do not set up a shopify store without any contact details like an email address, telepehone number or some form of contact details.
- 6. Have a system in place where you can resolve customer question asap.
- 7. Run Product ordering test orders before you launch your store from my experience it is best to test product orders before you chose your drop shipping partner not after.
