1. Plan and give your business a start date which you look to start your business. Plan where you want to be in 5 years time and do not change course until you have achieved all the goals you set out on your business journey in 2018!
2. Get a mentor and some help in the early days, this is very important as you may not know how to budget, write a business plan or even how to approach a bank for a business bank account. It is best to get some free advise from the professional and always keep your eye on your budgeting.
3. Have an online presence either through a social media channel, business website or sale pages with your company names, address and tag line. It is very important to build a great business reputation, credibility and trust from the early days by having an online presence today in 2018!
4. Never take paid advise unless your in trouble and need to save your neck, you will find most business advise you can sought from business mentors, free business workshop, bank managers if you have one.
5. Devise a marketing strategy which will boost your sale target through the roof in time, this is important to get the ball rolling in the early days but only if your business product is fully ready to launch. You don’t want to launch and then find you have a problem with your product or service.
6. Never waste time, ever! if you have a spare 5 minutes use it to focus all your energy on your business and leave least important task last and important task first on the to do list.
7. Have a vision where you want to be in 5 years time, where you want to live in 5 years time and what car you want to drive in 5 years time and NEVER, EVER, EVER GIVE UP! KEEP FIGHTING every SINGLE DAY until your DREAM becomes a REALITY!
